Data Feed Manager - Resumator Training v2

Overview:

Looking to hire an individual that has proficient knowledge in product data feeds. This person must be able to audit a raw feed and recommend additional attributes to the feed and the provide data quality recommendations as well.  The individual should have working knowledge in using 3rd party tools to create shopping feed templates and customize the data using a series of rules and filters.  Additionally, this person should have working knowledge of managing campaigns and optimizing bids for channels that utilize a product feed.  Their main focus will be on Product listing Ads and Comparison Shopping Engines.

This individual should also be comfortable speaking to clients on a weekly basis and provide key performance indexes via phone or in person.

Job Description:

  • Create, manipulate and manage product data feeds used for shopping engines, such as Google Shopping, Bing Product Ads or Comparison Shopping Engines (Amazon Product Ads, eBay Commerce Network, etc).
  • Campaign and bid management of shopping engines.
  • Daily use of third-party feed management platforms.
  • Audit product feeds and point out issues and recommendations.
  • Category map products and categories to specific engine taxonomies.
  • Create and update shopping engine feed templates.
  • Report on shopping engine performance for clients.

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in product data feeds.
  • 1-3 years of experience managing performance of shopping engines.
  • Experience with third-party feed platforms like GoDataFeed, Mercent or ChannelAdvisor.
  • HTML knowledge and business rule knowledge used to manipulate feeds.
  • Working knowledge in the back end of each provider engine such as, Google Merchant Center, Bing Merchant Tools, and CSE UI’s.
  • Experience in handling large amounts of data sets – over 300k Product SKUs.
  • Additional experience in traditional Paid Search preferred.
  • Experience with Paid Search platforms like Marin & Kenshoo.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient in Powerpoint, Access knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong problem solving, business analysis and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated team player.
  • Willing to teach others and create support/How-to documents.
